Operation in Panjgur
According to the Pakistan Army’s media wing, two people were hurt and a suspected militant was killed in an intelligence-based operation carried out by the security forces in Panjgur.
The ISPR claimed in a statement that security personnel carried out an intelligence-based operation in the Panjgur district on the evening of March 20 and 21. The army “engaged the terrorists’ location and resulted in terrorist Chakar Liaquat’s death, while two terrorists were injured,” according to the statement made during the operation.
The statement added, “The terrorist who was killed was still actively involved in numerous terrorist activities. Weapons and ammunition were also recovered from him.” “As the security forces of Pakistan are determined to eradicate the menace of terrorism from the country, a sanitization operation is being carried out to eliminate any other terrorist found in the area.”
It should be mentioned that eight militants made an attempt to enter the Gwadar port complex one day prior. All of the militants and two soldiers perished as the security forces stopped their effort to penetrate the compound.
