GUJRAT: On Wednesday, the wife of an expat and his small daughter were discovered dead in their home in Raika hamlet, which is close to Phalia Town in Mandi Bahauddin, under suspicious circumstances.
The women had not been in contact with anybody in the neighborhood for a few days, so according to police sources, the bodies, which appeared to be three or four days old, were found by neighbors who went to the residence.
The neighbors called the police when they discovered Zahra, 55, and her daughter Zainab, 20, dead inside the home.
When the police arrived, they moved the bodies to the Phalia Tehsil Headquarters Hospital, where an autopsy was later performed by medical professionals.
The remains, which looked to be three or four days old, were discovered by neighbors who went to the apartment since the women had not been in contact with anyone in the neighborhood for a few days, according to police sources.
When the neighbors found Zahra, 55, and her daughter Zainab, 20, dead inside the house, they phoned the police.
The remains were taken to the Phalia Tehsil Headquarters Hospital by the police upon their arrival, where a medical professional conducted an autopsy.
