In order to celebrate International Women’s Day IBM Pakistan Hosts First Ever STEM Forum for High School Girls in Islamabad.
The event took place today where women representatives from IBM across different businesses and External Senior Women Leaders from Digital and Telecom domain and Women Council in Pakistan participated.
IDG Pakistan was the event producers for the first ever IBM STEM for girls in Pakistan. Different groups from schools participated in the event and gave presentations related to technology.

Though women are already doing jobs but still they have to face many difficulties when they try to start their own business. If we educate girls then they will grow up to shape the future.

Such initiatives are really good for the empowerment of women. As woman represent over 50% of our population so it’s important to create an inclusive environment for them.

The forum called Sahar – Discover the Era of Digital Technology is a platform that targets to bring together brilliant science students from reputed schools in Pakistan. Where they can have effective exchange of ideas with female role models in the field of technology.
