ISLAMABAD: The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has forecast mostly hot and dry weather in most parts of the country during next 24 hours, with chances of rain at some places in Punjab and northwestern upper region.
Synoptic Situation:
Seasonal low pressure area lies over north Balochistan with its trough extending north-eastwards. A shallow westerly wave is likely to affect upper parts of the country during evening/night and likely to move north-eastward in next 18 to 24 hours.

Mainly very hot and dry weather is expected in most parts of the country. However, dust-thunderstorm / rain is expected at isolated places of Malakand, Hazara, Peshawar, Rawalpindi, Lahore, Gujranwala divisions, Islamabad, Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan during night.

Mainly very hot and dry weather is expected in most parts of the country. However, dust-thunderstorm / rain is expected at isolated places of Hazara, Rawalpindi, Gujranwala divisions, Islamabad, Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan.
