QUETTA: On Thursday, Ogra Chairman Masroor Khan gave consumers in Balochistan the reassurance that problems with gas supply, low pressure, load shedding, and excessive billing will be addressed as soon as possible.
Speaking at a public hearing, he stated that the petroleum minister will be presented with the concerns made against Sui Southern Gas Company Ltd. and that action will be done to resolve them.
At the public hearing, representatives of gas firms, Ogra officers, and consumers all spoke.
Customers told the Ogra chief that low pressure and gas shortages were major problems in Quetta. However, many bemoaned the fact that new fees had been added to the bills.
The officials of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry concurred with the objections made by the customers.
