PESHAWAR: In light of the escalating terrorist attacks in the area, Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur hosted Interior Minister Syed Mohsin Raza Naqvi here on Thursday, signaling the development of a cooperative relationship between the political rivals that control the Central government and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
According to a statement released by the CM House, CM Gandapur stated at the meeting that KP had suffered the most during the fight against militancy and that strong measures would be done to eradicate militancy and enhance the province’s law and order situation.
Following a suicide assault in the Shangla district that claimed the lives of a Pakistani and five Chinese nationals working on the Dasu dam project, the interior minister paid a visit to the provincial capital.

“KP is leading the charge in combating militancy,” according to sources quoting Mr. Naqvi. The data center and crime scene were among the areas of the CTD that the interior minister visited.
