KARACHI: Engro Fertilizers has made it possible for farmers to directly purchase fertilizers from the company at official prices by launching UgAi, Pakistan’s first integrated agri-e-commerce website.
The software was originally made available to farmers in Sindh, and there are soon plans to roll it out nationwide.
Engro Fertilizers will use the UgAi app to supply farmers with fertilizer directly from its warehouses, customized to the size and requirements of their individual farms. Farmers will so profit from consistent fertiliser availability, dependable product quality, and easy delivery.
UgAi incorporates cutting-edge drone technology and satellite imagery in addition to its direct purchase feature to precisely monitor crops, lower input costs, and increase crop production.
