KARACHI: Dubai will sparkle on October 19 as the star studded drafts for second edition of Pakistan Super League (PSL) draft for the 2017 edition will take place there.
Big names of cricket will feature the PSL draft and the event is expected to more exciting than the previous one.
The PSL draft will be streamed live on YouTube for the first time, ARY Sports reported.
Lahore Qalandars, who finished last in the first edition, will have the first pick and it has already been learnt that they are going to pick the former Kiwi skipper, Brendon McCullum.
Qalandars have already announced him as the skipper, replacing Azhar Ali from the first edition.
The team that finished at the fourth place will have the second turn to chose a player then the team that ranked on third and so on. Islamabad United, the team that got the Shooting Star in their hands in the end will have the last turn in the draft.
Karachi Kings have earlier announced that they have exchanged Chris Gayle from Lahore Qalandars against Sohail Tanvir and also have got Kumar Sangakkara from Quetta Gladiators. Another swap that Karachi Kings made included Babar Azam of Islamabad United against their second pick.
All the concerned personalities of the franchises have already reached Dubai and are busy in weighing how to strengthen their sides by picking the best possible cricketers.
