LAHORE: DIG Traffic Lahore Captain Mubeen and seven others were killed as an explosion rocked Lahore city’s Mall Road on Monday, ARY News reported.
Captain Mubeen was holding talks with Punjab Pharmacists Association to end the association’s sit-in at the Mall Road when the blast occurred leaving him dead and at least 40 others severely injured.
Police and rescue agencies soon reached the spot and started the rescue operation. A number of injured are in critical condition and are being moved to nearby hospitals. Law enforces are trying to find the cause of the blast.

Eye witnesses say the blast occurred when a motorcycle collided with a truck at the road.
