ISLAMABAD: Chief of Army Staff Gen Raheel Sharif on Thursday went to National Assembly Deputy Speaker’s chambers after the joint session of the parliament ended.
The COAS also had an informal meeting with MQM-Pakistan MNA Rashid Godil and inquired about his well-being.
Godil responded to Gen Sharif that he is in good health.
The Army Chief, however, declined to talk to media personnel. “Have always responded to you but today I will not,” he said.
The chief of the armed forces and Chairman of Joint Chief of Staff Committee saluted the Turkish president.
Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan addressed the joint session of parliament today.
During his address, President Erdogan spoke of Pakistan and Turkey’s fight against terrorism.
