BEIJING, June 6 (APP): Warmly Hailing Mian Nawaz Sharif as being elected once again the Prime Minster of Pakistan, Chian said Thursday that it will support him for “mutual beneficial cooperation in all fields”. “Premier Li Keqiang has already sent his message of congratulations to him shortly after his election”, said Foreign Ministry Spokesman Hong Lei. Addressing a Press Conference here at the Foreign Ministry, Spokesman Hong Lei said that as close and friendly neighbor, China will continue to have mutually beneficial cooperation with Pakistan in all fields.
He further said that China will support Pakistan’s efforts in realizing national stability, economic and social development.
Hong expressed these views when asked to comment on Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif’s address in the National Assembly Wednesday in which he shed light on his future plan including China-Pakistan economic corridor.
“To build , China Pakistan Economic corridor is an important consensus reached between the two sides during Premier Li Keqiang visit to Paksitan”, Hong noted.
He further said that “China is ready to work with Paksitan to build the project work energetically on the planning and construction of the corridor so as to make it a new highlights of bilateral cooperation”.
