KARACHI: BYD Auto Industry Company Ltd., the top producer of new energy vehicles (NEVs) worldwide, and Mega Motor Company., an affiliated company of Hub Power Company Ltd. (Hubco), have partnered.
Hubco said in a public filing on Thursday that its subsidiary has signed technical license agreements for the licenced products as well as a master supply and manufacture arrangement with BYD to manufacture, market, distribute, and sell its brand of passenger cars in Pakistan.
According to Hubco, BYD will propel Pakistan’s automotive industry into the future by providing customers with a range of automobiles from the top automotive technology firm in the world. This is because BYD combines cutting-edge technology with local knowledge.
