With one more person sccumbing to injuries in hospital, death toll in the ongoing violence in Kashmir since Saturday morning has gone upto 16.
As reported by Rising Kashmir first in the morning, one youth Irfan Ahmad of Nehama was killed in Murran Pulwama when police opened fire to break the demonstration protesting the killing of Hizb commander Burhan Wani.
Till last night 11 people had died and four more injured identified as Haseeb Ganai of Batpora and Imtiyaz Mandoo of Nandpora in Anantnag district, Mashooq Ahmad Qazigund in Kulgam district and Altaf Rather of Rajpora in Pulwama district scummbed in the hospital during the night taking the toll to 16.
