GUJRANWALA: Pakistan blind cricket team defeated Sri Lanka by two wickets in the second one day game at Gujranwala to clinch the three-match series 2-0, ARY News reported.
The Sri Lankan team won the toss and chose to bat first.
They managed to scored 291/8 in their given 40 overs.
The team was struggling at 138/7 in their 19 overs but a century by Captain Mohammad Jamil and a fifty by Mohammad Ejaz helped Pakistan reach the target in 33 overs.
Jamil remained not out at 100 while Ejaz scored an unbeaten 54 runs.
A cash prize of Rs. 0.1 million was given to the winning team by district government while the runner up team was given a cash prize of Rs. 50,000.
