In Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir, the All Parties Hurriyat Conference has called upon Kashmiris to observe a complete shutdown on Wednesday against Hindutva leader and Indian Home Minister Amit Shah’s visit to the occupied territory.
Call for the strike has been given by the APHC spokesman and supported by other parties and leaders to convey a message that they reject India’s illegal hold of their homeland.
In a statement, the APHC spokesman said that road or so-called projects are not important for the Kashmiris, instead they want the settlement of the UN-acknowledged Kashmir dispute in its historical background.
It said India has turned Kashmir into a military garrison where human rights violations are taking place with impunity.
