Islamabad/ MIRPUR (AJK)(Parliament Times) : Prime Minister of Azad Jammu and Kashmir Chaudhry Anwarul Haq has said that the press freedom march has been returned peacefully, the AKNS and the Press Foundation have played their vital role in resolving the matter wisely. The government held talks with the marches, the talks also raised the issues of working journalists by the government in the talks.
The government’s negotiating committee was led by Minister Local Government and Rural Development Raja Faisal Mumtaz Rathore. The government is grateful for the AKNS and the Press Foundation to play a role in the matter.
He said that every effort to persuade the PFUJ leadership before the protest, journalist organizations are aware of the government’s efforts.
He said that peace is a priority, we rejected every conspiracy of the spread of chaos, will not tolerate any conspiracy against national security agencies, the Kashmiris will not allow the relationship with Pakistan to weaken Pakistan, the ideology will be fully supported, the constitutional responsibilities will not be fulfilled, the police will work for peace.
He expressed these views while talking to the media on the death of Syed Afaq Hussain Shah’s mother. On the occasion, Minister Faisal Mumtaz Rathore, Nisar Ansar Abdali, Sardar Aamir Altaf, Sardar Mir Akbar and Chaudhry Qasim Majeed were also present.The government wanted to resolve the matter with understanding. Prime Minister Azad Kashmir said that the ministers were taken in confidence in the cabinet meeting a few days ago. In this continuity, the ministers under the leadership of Senior Minister Colonel (R) Waqar Ahmed Noor have also made detailed press talk. The PM said that he paid tribute to the intelligence agencies and police of Azad Kashmir for maintaining law and order in Azad Kashmir. Government is following the policy of understanding and tolerance.
