Thursday, June 13, 2013 – Islamabad—In order to ensure foolproof security at Benazir Bhutto International Airport Islamabad, a trench has been dug on the apron side of the airport.
Moreover, prior to the advent of monsoon, the desalination of the nullahs running in the airport area have also been started on war footings.
According to sources, the security arrangements in and around the airport have been geared up and contingents of Rawalpindi police and Elite Force petrol outside the boundary of the airport, while Airport Security Force (ASF) also petrol inside the boundary of the airport.
According to officials of the ASF, the security has been tightened to avoid any untoward incident in and around the airport.
