After Eidul Fitr, the Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf intends to stage a protracted march and sit-in protesting “massive rigging and stealing of public mandate.”
Additionally, the PTI has made the decision to refrain from speaking with the current administration until it receives a legitimate public mandate back.
Speaking to reporters outside the Punjab Assembly on Monday, PTI leader Shaukat Basra declared, “No dialogue, no move on until the stolen mandate will be returned.”
In an attempt to regain the public mandate, he claimed the PTI was consulting with other parties and contested these instances in state institutions, but there was no chance of success.
He claimed that the country had been cheated out of its mandate and that the prime minister, president, and chief minister of Punjab “are ruling at gunpoint.” He declared that the elected representatives of Form-45 will soon remove the ‘false’ authorities. He added that Dr. Yasmin Rashid had destroyed Nawaz Sharif, and in a similar vein, Maryam Nawaz and Shehbaz Sharif had also been vanquished.
Mr. Basra claimed that because PTI founder chairman Imran Khan had rejected all attempts to persuade him to make a deal, the ruling class was terrified of him.
