RAWALPINDI: To commemorate the start of PIA flights to Paris, a roadshow was arranged in the French city.
According to a PIA spokesperson, the roadshow, which was hosted at a nearby hotel in Paris, attracted a sizable number of Pakistanis and travel agencies from all across France and Europe.
Pakistanis told the PIA administration during the occasion that the national airline’s flight suspension had caused them a lot of troubles.
In order to help Pakistanis, the Pakistani community urged the PIA management to start operating flights to other European cities again.
According to the spokesperson, rival airlines’ rates to Pakistan have clearly decreased since PIA flights to and from Europe resumed.
It used to cost thousands of euros and involve a great deal of agony for Pakistanis to have their remains returned to their homeland from European nations. On the occasion, PIA’s Chief Commercial Officer (CCO), Nausherwan Adil, declared that this feature will now be offered without charge following the start of PIA flights.
According to him, PIA would commercially grow its network throughout Europe and offer the service of transporting fellow European nationals’ bodies to Pakistan at no cost.
According to him, PIA intends to expand its network in Europe on a commercial basis.
Following a four-and-a-half-year ban, the national flag carrier began operating flights to Europe again on Friday.
