RAWALPINDI: Beenish Fatima, the chief traffic officer, has issued strong cautions against traffic infractions, especially during rush hour and when schools get out.
She emphasized the need to crack down on improper parking, encroachment, and lane discipline breaches during a meeting at Traffic Police Headquarters.
Officers and authorities were told by CTO Fatima to act quickly against automobiles that are generating traffic congestion as a result of incorrect parking. These cars will be quickly lifted and moved to approved locations, and the drivers will be fined in accordance with the law.
A disposal staff member has been assigned to keep an eye on lifted automobiles in order to prevent vehicle theft. In addition, the CTO gave circular in-charges instructions on how to stop unauthorized encroachments and maintain traffic flow.
CTO Fatima further disclosed that she will be making unexpected roadside appearances to compel compliance. Disciplinary action will be taken against the appropriate lifter in-charge as well as sector and circle officials if illegal parking or traffic interruptions are discovered.
The City Traffic Police Rawalpindi is still dedicated to maintaining public convenience and efficient traffic flow, and it will not put up with improper parking or road closures that annoy people.
