ISLAMABAD: Pakistan on Tuesday summoned Afghan envoy and recorded its protest over recent attack on Pakistani check post on the Pak-Afghan border, SAMAA reported.
Pakistans Gursal check post came under unprovoked firing from the Afghanistan side. The border attack strained relations between the two neighboring countries.
According to officials, the Afghan diplomat was summoned in the Foreign Office today where Pakistani authorities conveyed their concerns and recorded their protest over the attack.
Pakistan stated that such incidents affect bilateral relations, adding that Afghanistan would be responsible if such attacks were carried out in the future. SAMAA
