Srinagar, June 07: In the memory of 128 youth who were killed during 2010 mass uprising and to press for a fair investigation into these killing, Hurriyat Conference (G) is going to organize a day-long seminar on June 11 at its Hyderpora headquarters.
A statement of Hurriyat (G) issued here said the seminar would be presided over by Hurriyat (G) Chairman Syed Ali Geelani while the family members of the youth killed in 2010 have also been invited.
A Hurriyat (G) spokesman said people from every walk of life including intellectual, writers, politicians and lawyers, have been invited to participate in this seminar, who would try to highlight the different aspects of the killings of 2010.
The seminar titled ‘2010 Kay Aad Khilay Phool Jo Masal Diyah Gaye’ (Half blossomed flowers of 2010, who were crushed) would start at 10:30 am and will continue until 4 pm.
The statement said all possibilities and ways would be explored in the seminar that would help highlight the need for an impartial investigation into these killings and help bring the bloodshed into the notice of the world community.
Hurriyat (G) would try to create a consensus about this grave issue and thwart every attempt that tries to neglect the precious sacrifices of Kashmiris, the statement said.
