KARACHI: United Bank Ltd. (UBL) said on Wednesday that its profit-after-tax (PAT) increased by 75% from Rs31.535 billion in 2022 to Rs55.145 billion in 2023.
The bank also revealed that the PAT for 4QCY23 showed a 3% year-over-year growth to Rs13.5 billion.
A final dividend of Rs. 11 per share was declared by UBL.
Security Paper Ltd (SPL) had a 122 percent increase in earnings during the 1HFY24, from Rs336 million to Rs746 million over the same period the previous year. Over the same period last year, the company’s top line climbed by 38% to Rs3.49 billion from Rs2.53 billion. Additionally, a Rs2.5 interim dividend per share was announced.
