According to Shah Mehmood Qureshi, a former foreign minister, the government is not ready to make a serious commitment to the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), which is willing to participate in Parliament.
The remarks were made by the leader of the PTI in response to Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari’s criticism of PTI chief Imran Khan made by Chairman of the Pakistan People’s Party.
Bilawal asked the PTI chief to return to parliament because neither he nor his party “could bear” what was coming to them when he spoke to a gathering in Garhi Khuda Bakhsh to commemorate Benazir Bhutto’s 15th death anniversary.
Qureshi said in a statement that the PTI is ready to be a parliamentary candidate, but the government hasn’t said when general elections will be.
The PTI leader stated, “The establishment is apolitical” in response to the PPP chief’s charge against Imran Khan. How do we get in touch with them?
Qureshi stated that Bilawal could not invite the PTI to join the parliament because it is the prime minister’s prerogative. This was in response to Bilawal’s statement urging the PTI to rejoin the parliament.
Bilawal criticized Imran Khan and stated that it was the puppet’s final warning, clearly referring to the PTI leader, to return to parliament and join the NAB and elections reforms.
The chairman of the PPP stated that he does not want Imran Khan to be targeted by the National Accountability Bureau (NAB).
“Due to this, Imran, you ought to return to parliament. We won’t be able to stop them from doing what they do, otherwise,” he warned.
Senior leader Fawad Chaudhry referred to the PPP leaders as “the puppets of the establishment” in response to Bilawal’s remarks about the PTI and Imran Khan.
“The puppets of the establishment set up a farce at the mausoleum of Benazir Bhutto today,” the PTI leader wrote on Twitter.
“Zardari and his child managed such a profound catastrophe for Benazir’s way of thinking that her professional killers couldn’t dispose of Bhutto however they figured out how to satisfy the mission of Benazir’s enemies by canceling the government status of the PPP,” he tweeted.

Fawad asserts that there is currently only one federal party in the country, the PTI, with a single leader and chairman. He added that Imran Khan’s call is being heard all over the country, from the mountains of Chagai to the Khyber and from Lahore to Karachi.
He emphasized, “Political dwarfs cannot survive in politics solely by delivering fake speeches.”
He claimed that attacks on the Constitution were sponsored by Bilawal and Zardari.
