NEW DELHI: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chief Imran Khan has said that Pakistan and India should establish a civil nuclear plant along the border for peace.
Speaking at an event organised here, Imran Khan said both India and Pakistan should get energy from this civil nuclear plant.
Imran Khan said both the neighboring countries needed a leadership that did not believe war as the solution of problems. He said we need strong and visionary leaders. War is not an option in solving any issue, he added.
He hoped that India and Pakistan would have a future like the European Union, with people moving freely between the two countries.
Commenting on the issue of Kashmir, Khan said this core issue should be resolved as per the wishes of Kashmiri people.

Actually – The Khan is making a lot of sense. India has all the nuclear deals with the world. Pakistan needs electricity. Nothing to stop a plant in India, staffed with Pakistanis supplying electricity to both countries. Set it up in Punjab with a joint guard detachment from both countries.
Awesome idea for a confidence building exercise.
the wishes of the Kashmiri people is to have the 700 million indian troops sent back and kashmir accede to Pakistan.
700 million?? Do you even know how to count paki??
India already has such relations with Nepal and Bhutan. We dont even need a passport to cross over each other’s territories. Such thing with Pakistan can only be thought of when Pakistan stops breeding terrorists and eradicate polio.
Also, there is no need for any fear from India for whatever you do in your territory whether its close to india border or afghan border but the peace efforts should be genuine and come from heart rather than creating a show.
