ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif on Thursday chaired a high level meeting to review proposed amendments in anti-terrorism laws, said a statement issued by the Prime Minister House.
Federal Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan, Information Minister Pervez Rasheed, Zahid Hamid and others attended the meeting.
The premier told the meeting that no flaws would be tolerated in the anti-terror laws that might benefit terrorists.
He directed that all necessary amendments should be introduced to make the laws more transparent and strict since reliable laws were vital to overcome the menace of terrorism.
