Hindu extremist organization, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), has ended the alliance with the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) ending the four-year long coalition government in occupied Kashmir.
The decision was taken in a meeting chaired by BJP President Amit Shah in New Delhi. The BJP ministers submitted their resignations to puppet Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti and MLAs have submitted their resignations to Governor.
Amit Shah held a meeting with party cabinet ministers, various office bearers and in charges of Kashmir to discuss the political situation in the territory.
