Former Chief of Army Staff General (r) Raheel Sharif said on Tuesday that it was an honour for him to be the commander of the Islamic Military Alliance.
Addressing the Middle East Military Alliance and Coordination Conference, General (r) Raheel Sharif said that Muslim countries were facing quite a lot of challenges, among the biggest of them being terrorism.
“We need concerted efforts to get rid of the menace of terrorism,” he said. “Pakistan has played a key role in establishing world peace,” he added.
