ISLAMABAD, Jul 19 (APP): Foreign Office Spokesman Aizaz Ahmed Chaudhry on Friday said that Kashmir was core issue between India and Pakistan and solution of the dispute was necessary to maintain peace and stability in the region.He said that Pakistan has a clear Kashmir policy to solve the issue, according to the resolution of United Nations (UN) and will of the people of Kashmir.
Aizaz Chaudhry said that Pakistan fully supported the right of self determination of the Kashmiri people and wanted to give them their due rights.Talking to Pakistan television, he said that Pakistan believed in peaceful co- existence and wanted to solve all the issues with India through peaceful negotiations. Replying to a question regarding the revelations made by former Indian official Satish Verma, about the Mumbai and Parliament attacks, Aizaz said that India had denied any such statement on Bombay attack.
“We would ask India to give more details in this regard,” said the spokesman.
He said cooperation between Pakistan and India is essential in countering terrorism.
