Jammu and Kashmir Liberation Front chairman Muhammad Yasin Malik was arrested on Sunday on the eve of joint resistance leadership sit-in on detainees.
A JKLF spokesperson said that Malik was arrested by police and was shifted to Central Jail Srinagar.
The joint resistance leadership was scheduled to hold a sit-in protest at Lal Chowk tomorrow (Monday) against the detentions.
