The Corps Commanders Conference was held in Rawalpindi on Friday with Army Chief General Raheel Sharif in the chair.

The situation on the Line of Control and operational preparedness of Pakistan Army were also reviewed.
The conference rejected the Indian claim of surgical strike. The participants observed that the claim of surgical strike was made to divert the international community’s attention from the atrocities being committed by Indian forces against the Kashmiris in Occupied Kashmir. Any misadventure or irresponsible act will be responded in the best manner.
The Army Chief expressed complete satisfaction over the operational preparedness of the Army.
He reiterated the Army’s resolve to defend the motherland at every cost. He said the successes of Operation Zarb-e-Azb will lead to progress and prosperity of the country.
The participants of the conference agreed to continue combing operations against terrorists and their facilitators across the country.
They also expressed concern over the fabricated news story about the national security meeting. They said the news story was against the national interest.
