RAWALPINDI: Director General Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) Asim Bajwa on Tuesday briefed the media on steps taken for border management by the armed forces.
Work has been completed on 20 posts set up for border management, Bajwa said.
He said border management would be most effective when Pakistani efforts are matched by the Afghan side.
“We are closely monitoring the eastern border and we are fully prepared to respond to any situation,” Bajwa said.
He said deliberations are being made on top levels to ensure implementation of the National Action Plan in letter and in spirit.
