ISLAMABAD: Health experts have advised people to avoid storage of meat after Eid-ul-Azha as it may contain a number of bacteria leading to diseases.
Experts said excessive use of red meat during Eid-ul-Azha can increase the risk of developing cardiovascular, kidney, liver, diabetes and gastroenteritis diseases.
Dr. Arif Majeed said eating excessive meat during Eid-ul-Azha could have negative impacts on health and especially for those who stored this meat for several months.
Use of this frozen meat would be harmful which may affect kidneys and cardiac problems he added.
