SRINAGAR:In occupied Kashmir, thousands of people defying curfew and other restrictions held an anti-India protest demonstration in Pampore area of Pulwama district.
According to Kashmir Media Service, the protesters were led by Muzaffar Wani, the father of martyred Hizbul Mujahiddin Commander, Burhan Wani.
Addressing the rally, Muzaffar Wani who has already sacrificed his two sons for the Kashmir cause, said that he was ready to offer his only daughter to the struggle against the Indian occupation of Jammu and Kashmir.
There is an increasing support for senior Wani among those protesting against the killings by Indian armed forces in the territory.
Wani attracted thousands of protesters to Khrew who turned up despite the curfew imposed in South Kashmir and a call by Hurriyet leaders to march to Hazratbal, Srinagar.
Dargah Chalo call was jointly given by top Hurriyet leaders including Syed Ali Gilani, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq and Muhammad Yasin Malik.
