The work on Pakistan- China Optical Fiber Cable project has been initiated from Mansehra.
This was stated by a spokesman of Special Communication Organization in an interview to our Gilgit correspondent Sher Muhammad today.
Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif had laid foundation stone of this project at a ceremony held in Gilgit on May 19.
Under the project, Optical Fiber Cable from Rawalpindi to Khunjarab would be laid at a cost of $44 million.
