ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif is making a speedy recovery after undergoing an open heart surgery at a hospital in London, his daughter Maryam Nawaz said on Saturday.
In a message on Twitter, she said Prime Minister Nawaz has been shifted to his room from the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of the hospital.
His drips and IV lines have also been taken off.
Prime Minister Nawaz is expected to be released from the medical facility within two to three days as doctors are satisfied with his recovery and want him to walk more, sources said.
“If he is able to climb stairs and not get exhausted, he will be released from the hospital, hopefully, within two to three days.”
