GUJRANWALA: At least four terrorists were gunned down during an alleged armed encounter with personnel of Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) in Gujranwala in Wednesday’s wee hours.
According to CTD spokesman, the saboteurs were en route to Lahore from Sialkot for a major terroristic activity.
A terrorist has been identified as Abdur Rehman. He belonged to Gujranwala and wanted by the city police in eight cases.
Police recovered a Kalashnikov, two rockets, four hand grenades, a pistol and explosive material during the encounter.
