Iran has emphatically declared and assured that it will not allow the use of its soil against Pakistan.
This has been stated by Foreign Office Spokesman Nafees Zakaria in an interview in Islamabad.
He said Pakistan and Iran have regular mechanism of negotiations to discuss different issues.
The Spokesman said Iran is helping Pakistan to overcome energy shortage.
To a question, he said dialogue is the only way to resolve all outstanding issues with India.
He said Pakistan has repeatedly expressed concern over India’s involvement in Balochistan.
Meanwhile, Foreign Office says 45 Pakistanis stranded in Chinese city of Tashkurgan in the Xinjiang Province are safe.
In a statement, FO Spokesman Nafees Zakaria said Pakistan Embassy is in contact with the Chinese authorities to explore various options for the early return of these Pakistanis.
These Pakistanis were stranded due to bad weather conditions and cancellation of Rayanair flight between Kashghar and Islamabad.
