KABUL: Afghan Taliban militants today claimed that fighters have shot down a military helicopter of United States in Shawal Manda area of Nad Ali district in Helmand province.
According to information being circulated on social media facebook, all four of the US military officials onboard were killed on spot.
The image shared by Afghanistan based new agency Watan Press, also showed a helicopter catching fire.
Any of the US officials or Afghan authorities have not yet confirmed the claim of Taliban insurgents
