NEW DELHI – India’s former Home secretary RK Singh – who is leader of ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) – has asked the government of Prime Minister Narendra Modi to ‘behave’ like Israel when dealing with Pakistan.
“India has to become like Israel otherwise people will keep hitting us and we will keep getting hurt,” he said in an interview with the India Today magazine. He suggested a strong ‘retaliatory action’ against terror attacks in India.
– Pakistan’s warning –
In June, Minister for Interior Affairs Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan said India should not mistake Pakistan for Myanmar. “Our armed forces are fully capable of responding to any foreign aggression and Indian leaders should stop daydreaming,” he said while reacting to statements by Indian politicians – including that of Narendra Modi.
Nisar stressed that India’s notorious designs might have succeeded in the past, but they would not do so in the future. At that time, Defence Minister Khawaja Muhammad Asif also said that Pakistan was capable of teaching India a lesson as well if India spoke about ‘teaching’ Pakistan a ‘lesson.’
In the latest interview, the former Indian official strongly opposed talks with Pakistan. “Every time their credibility is down, they want to talk to India to show to come in parity with India. We should not allow that,” Singh said. He also said that ‘other groups’ can be funded and trained to undertake an ‘operation’ inside Pakistan.
– Musharraf warns India –
In an interview to an Indian TV channel, former president Pervez Musharraf warned India against thinking a ‘military operation’ inside Pakistan. “Pakistan is not Myanmar, and India dare not treat Pakistan as Myanmar,” The army chief cautioned India against what he called similar adventurism, he said.
I am waiting for Bharat to attack us. Don’t talk, do it if you are the son’s of your father’s.
We should equally support Chinas in attacking dirty India. China can attack India from Gwadar which is why the enemy is so scared over Sino-Pak relations. Together we will make mince meat of these filthy subhuman animals.
