A Pakistani hacker named Faisal Afzal on Thursday hacked the official website of National Institute of Technology (NIT), Raipur India that was launched just a day before by Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi to launch the technological culture in India by the project of Digital India.
According to The Times of India, a Pakistani hacker hacked the official website of NIT and displayed a warning “Hacked Pak Cyber Attackers”. Hacker also put the slogan at the bottom “Pakistan Zindabad”. However, hacker claimed that “nothing harmed just defaced and deleted some vulnerable files, we are Muslim hackers, and we hack for cause, not for fun: contact us.”
The experts of NIT had immediately shout down the website and after sometime on air it after repairing and removing the malfunctioning due to virus. The cyber cell of the institute was not aware of the hacking until they got the message from Faisal Afzal that he had hacked the official site of NIT, Raipur, said by Mohit Sahu a cyber-security expert.
