RAWALPINDI: Indian troops resorted to ‘unprovoked firing’ in Jandrot sector near Kotli along the Line of Control (LoC) on Sunday morning, Express News reported.
According to a Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) statement, Pakistani troops appropriately responded to the firing from the Indian side.
No casualty was reported till the filing of this report.
The Indian troops have frequently violated ceasefire along the LoC. A recent spate of LoC and working boundary violations since July has resulted in casualties on both sides of the border.
