Bannu- A militant commander was arrested in Bannu after a gunfight between security forces and the militants today.
Security forces on an intelligence cue conducted rain in Jannikhel area of Bannu district today and arrested militant commander Waliullah, official sources said. Security forces were attacked while conducting a search operation in Jannikhel Frontier Region, sources said. Security men responded to the attack with retaliatory firing. A militant was killed in the gun battle whereas Commander Waliullah was arrested. The arrested suspect has been said to be wanted by the law enforcement agencies in scores of cases of terrorism.
