Prime Minister Imran Khan on Thursday vowed that all out efforts will be made to provide speedy and trouble-free access to justice to the people, particularly the weak segments of the society, as per the ruling party’s election manifesto, Radio Pakistan reported.
Chairing a meeting on legal reforms, the prime minister said it was the basic responsibility of the state to protect the rights of its citizens by mobilising all the state resources.
PM Khan issued special directives to ensure the basic rights of women, children and domestic servants. He was informed that modern technology solutions are being introduced to help courts in the dispensation of easy justice to the needy people.
Minister for Law and Justice Farogh Nasim said Whistleblower Protection and Vigilance Commission are being constituted for protection of those pinpointing corruption and other crimes, and to reward them properly. He said government servants will also be facilitated in seeking justice in their service matters.
