Just a week ago PIA announced that it was bringing back its Air Safari flights on the 16th of July. The airline launched its services yesterday with a special gathering consisting of Pakistani celebrities.
The special flight operated by PIA was piloted by Captain Naveed Ikram and Ali Zaidi with Chief pilot Technical Capt. Masood Opel who took the job of narrating the sights on the way.
The Air Safari Flight took its passengers over the majestic mountains, valleys, lakes, and glaciers of North Pakistan.
Who was onboard the first Air Safari Flight
PIA had organized the first Air Safari Flight for private passengers only. The passengers included the officials of PIA, celebrities and notable figures of Pakistan.
Few of the names on the flight included Adeel Husain, Huma Amir Shah, Faryal Gohar, Tauseeq Haider, Rezz Aly, Amir Adnan, and many more.

The details of the Air Safari are as follows:
The Air Safari flight will operate from Islamabad to Skardu ever Saturday and Sunday post-July 16, 2018. It is a litter over an hour flight from Islamabad to Skardu.
The passengers get the view of Karakoram Ranges, Deosai Plains, many lakes and glaciers from the comfort of their airplane seats.
The passengers traveling on Air Safari will have the option to either travel back on the same day resuming the flight or disembark at Skardu airport and travel back on another weekend (Sat/Sun) OR during the week (Mon/Tue/Wed/Thu/Fri).
The Air Safari Fare will be combinable with the rest of the week so the pax will have an option to take Air Safari Flight on way and travel back on a normal Islamabad-Skardu route.
