PKKH: There were news of an attack on the NDMA staff, in particular its management which was involved in the relief activities, like Chairman by himself, what is the reaction at your side? Any precautionary measures taken?
Brig Kamran: The resolve of NDMA and all organisations engaged in the relief effort is firm / not shaken even for a second. We will continue our support for our countrymen under all circumstances what so ever. It is also to be cleared here that there is no “Military Operation” going on in the effected areas, as portrayed for a justification of attack, who so ever carried it out. More importantly, despite the threats of miscreants, common people, locals in the area are welcoming govt agencies and civil society organisations and showing their trust in the relief activities of NDMA and other civil organization, thus negating the false propoganda. The locals have also been made part of the relief distribution process through formation of local committees
PKKH: Any comment about the miscreants?
Brig Kamran: This is perhaps a political question and outside the ambit of NDMA and therefore I will leave it to be answered by the political Govt of Balochistan and Pakistan.
