ISLAMABAD: A pictorial exhibition ‘Pakistan Land and Life’ celebrates the rich culture and heritage of Pakistan.
The 50 photographs put on display capture landscape, folk heritage, traditional architecture, and routine life in Pakistan.
The exhibition, showcasing the work of photographer Sharjeel Anzar, is being held at the Pakistan National Council of the Arts (PNCA).
Speaking at the inauguration of the exhibition, renowned poet Kishwar Nahid said the photographs speak the language of a poet with beautiful compositions.
The photographs showed the scenes of the real life of rural areas, she added.
Meanwhile, Director-General PNCA Syed Jamal Shah said the photographer had skilfully captured the precious moments of life from different parts of the country.
The scenes in the photographs truly reflect the life of culture and old architecture.
He said the photographs reflected the nostalgia associated with the traditions.
Speaking about his work, Anzar remarked that he aimed to capture the actual life of the people and extraordinary moments of nature to aesthetically appease the viewers.
One can travel entire Pakistan through my photographs, he added.
