Farooq Abdullah, president of the Jammu and Kashmir National Conference, has stated that peace in the illegally occupied territory of Jammu and Kashmir by India cannot be achieved without strengthening ties with Pakistan.
When he spoke to a program in New Delhi, he said that for peace and prosperity in South Asia, India must improve relations with Pakistan.
Farooq Abdullah stated that peace and prosperity necessitate improved relations with neighboring nations.
