An eleven-part Kashmiri appointment hailing from the two sides of Line of Control has left for Geneva to go to the 51st meeting of the UN Human Rights Council.
Driven by senior APHC pioneer and Chairman Kashmir Institute of International Relations Altaf Hussain Wani, the appointment contains political pioneers, academicians, common society individuals and freedoms activists.
During its extended stay in Geneva, the Kashmiri designation, other than going to the UNHRC meeting, is planned to go to a large group of significant gatherings with the UNHRC High Commissioner, Special Rapporteurs, negotiators and delegates of global NGOs.
The principal objective of the visit is to bring to concentrate the continuous common freedoms infringement in Indian Illegally Occupied Kashmir, specifically the rising episodes of extrajudicial killings, mass obliteration of properties, clampdown on disagree, assaults on right to schooling and strict privileges and predicament of Kashmiri detainees.
