State leader Shehbaz Sharif on Sunday wrote a letter to Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi, approaching him to determine the Jammu and Kashmir debate “in light of a legitimate concern for common harmony and success” for India and Pakistan.
Modi had praised the chief on his April 11 political decision as the state leader and said India wanted harmony and dependability in the district. PM Shehbaz had responded the signal and said Pakistan wanted “tranquil and helpful ties” with India for which an answer for the Kashmir question was “vital”.
In Sunday’s letter, a duplicate of which is accessible with Dawn.com, the top state leader repeated his appreciation to his Indian partner for his kind words and said that Pakistan stayed “focused on the upkeep of provincial harmony and security”.
The letter said Pakistan’s penances and commitment towards battling and taking out illegal intimidation were “notable and universally recognized”.
